Each Wednesday through August, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes offers a variety of different ways to spend a summer evening.
This week’s program is something really different: its first-ever eco-friendly clothing swap, hosted by Fashion Talks. It invites people to bring clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry and other accessories in good condition, and swap them for something that’s fresh and new to them. You can bring or take as much as you like.
In addition, fashion interns will be there to help sort items and offer recommendations on what might go together and work for you. There’ll also be free color analysis available to help you find colors that spark your spirit. And Zia Sirabella of Eazia will be there selling her accessories and gifts.
There’ll also be mocktails from Verbena Free Spirited. It’s open to all ages. There’s a $10 admission free and registration is required. Go here.
