The City Club’s July series of Wednesday “We The People” free forums outdoors on the Playhouse Square Plaza continues on Wednesday July 15 with “The Power of Women and the American Promise.”

Panelists include League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland co-president Dawn Ellis; President/CEO of the YWCA of Greater Cleveland Helen Forbes Fields; and Abby Westbrook, executive director of Collaborate Cleveland. Ideastream Public Media reporter/producer Zaria Joghnson moderates.

Then on Wednesday July 22, the “We the People” forum will address the topic “One Cleveland: The People and Stories That Connect Us.” Greg Harris, CEO/president of the Rock Hall; executive director/CEO of the Cleveland Public Library Felton Thomas Jr.; Connie Hill-Johnson, immediate past board chair of the Cleveland foundation; and Kevin Clayton, executive vice president & chief impact and equity officer for the Cleveland Cavaliers will be the panelists, with Michael K. McIntyre, executive editor of Ideastream Public Media moderating a discussion of the importance of libraries and their role in sharing our stories.
