It’s back — but you knew it would be. The Cleveland Metropark Zoo will be hosting one of its most popular events, the Asian Lantern Festival, for the 9th year, starting Thursday July 9.
In addition to the entire facility bedecked with installations featuring millions of lights, there will be more interactive experiences this year, and for the first time, the K-Pop Family Dance Party, with popular K-Pop tunes, dance lessons and interactive games.
There will also be several pedal, crank, and step-operated lanterns, walk-through tunnels and themed areas, including the RainForest Path. Asian food will also be available in the dining area. And again, the zoo will offer a drive-through experience on certain nights, along with the full walk-through experience Thursday-Sunday @ 6:30-10:30pm. The festival is currently scheduled to run through Sunday August 23.
