Ethnic festivals tend to be backloaded at the end of the summer but don’t overlook the ones that get your warmed up early in the season. This week the 12th Annual Lebanese Food & Music Festival will be rocking the St. Sava Picnic Grove in Parma for two days.
Notice that “food” comes first in the festival’s name because food is always the main attraction at these events. There’ll be plenty of authentic Lebanese food, including desserts such as baklava, and beer and wine to wash it down.
Once you’ve gotten your plateful, make yourself comfortable and enjoy some live entertainment including belly dancers and the Dabke line dancers, as well as music. There will also be special activities and games for the kids to burn off some energy, and a 50/50 raffle to take a chance on. Admission is free so you can get some extra food to take home.
