Since early June, the Cleveland Institute of Art alumni and faculty show has been on view at an unusual location: the Museum of American Porcelain Art, located at the William E. Telling Mansion in South Euclid — formerly the South Euclid/Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. There, in its elegant room, you can see work by some of the area’s most talented artists in a wide array of mediums — with a group of pottery and ceramic-based work that fits in with the museum’s permanent collection.
That show closes this weekend, at the same time as the museum’s first Outdoor Art Festival outdoors on the mansion’s beautiful grounds. There’ll be local artisan and artist vendors, food vendors, and live music. Admission is free, and because it used to be a library, there’s a large parking lot in the back.
