The two-weekend Boston Mills Artfest is a long tradition in Northeast Ohio (this is its 52nd year!), taking place the last weekend in June and first weekend in July. That often puts it on July 4, as it does this year.
The sprawling event welcomes more than 300 artists from across the country, with a different mix of 150 artists each weekend — so if you’re a real art lover, you’ll want to go at least twice. The Artfest also features food, drinks, music (the Dan Hammer Trio plays from 11am-2pm Saturday and Taylor Lamborn performs from 1am-3pm Sunday) and a garden space to enjoy them, so you can take a break from all that browsing and make a festival day of it.
Each weekend features a preview party on Friday with the festival open to the entire public on Saturday and Sunday. Go here for more information and tickets.
