The Bainbridge Swing Dances take place on the first Saturday of each month, and despite it falling on July 4, the dancing must go on.

But this month will be a little different. There won’t be a live band’ DJs Will and Maxx will be providing dance music from 8-10pm. And the fun starts early, with a food truck from Cowboy Food & Drink onsite from 6:30-9pm.  The usual dance lesson takes place from 7-8pm so that everyone from beginners on up can get familiar with the steps. And after the main dance, at 10am there will be a Shim Sham Dance Leson.

Independence Day specials at the Bainbridge Swing Dance on 4th of July! Reduced admission. Food truck by Cowboy Food & Drink. Shim Sham dance lesson. And DJs Will and Maxx will take requests. As always, all ages and levels of dance experience are welcome at this event, taking place at the Family Lifer Center in Chagrin Falls. And this month only admission is reduced since there’s no band to pay.

The Bainbridge Swing Dance is the first Saturday of every month at Family Life Center (16349 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023).  Doors open at 6:30pm. A beginner-friendly East Coast Swing lesson is at 7pm. Followed by music and Swing Dancing from 8-10pm. On the 4th of July only, we will be giving a Shim Sham dance lesson, 10-11pm.  No partner or prior experience is needed for this family-friendly event
