Chinese-American author R.F. (Rebecca) Kuang is known for her fantasy novels such a her 2020 Babel, or the Necessity of Violence, which topped The New York Times Best Seller list. Kuang was born in China but her family moved to Texas when she was a pre-schooler; she published her first novel when she was just 21. Now 29, she’s published six, including her Poppy trilogy and  last year’s Katabasis.

Kuang is the next guest in Cuayhoga County Public Library’s Writers Center Stage series. The event, taking place at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, is sold out, but virtual tickets for the livestream are available. Go here to get them.
