Candy Land is back at the Lake Metro Parks Penitentiary Glen Reservation to provide some eye candy for visitors and some seasonal fun. It features the Candy Land game come to life with elements taken from Ohio’s natural surroundings. Families can enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt and interactive exhibits, shop for presents at The Nature Store and sip on hot chocolate at Snowshoe Lodge. On Saturdays, there are animal chat and s’mores around a campfire, and snowshoe rentals, if there’s snow. On Sundays, there are “meet-the-keeper” chats.

It’s open every day 1-am-5pm through January 4, 2026, except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Admission is free.
