If you are an enthusiastic herb grower or just want to know more about these easy-to-grow plants that can add zing to your cooking, you’ll want to get down to the Cleveland Botanical Garden for the annual Western Reserve Herb Society herb fair, now in its 78th year.

The event will feature booths offering products made from herbs by members including jams and jellies, teas, baked goods, wreaths potpourri, pressed flowers and more. There will be 15-minute talks about topics such as Bees in the Herb Garden, Lavender, Scented Geraniums (very easy care for beginners!) and cooking with herbs, along with free herbal workshops and herbal crafts for kids throughout the day. And they’ll be leading tours of CBG’s extensive herb garden which the Western Reserve Herb Society maintains.

The herb fair is included in regular CBG admission.
