Cleveland Foundation President/CEO Lillian Kuri Shares her Thoughts at Breakfast Talk

Fri 10/24 @ 8:30-10AM

The monthly Greyt Big Talks, hosted by Thomas Fox’s Greyt Culture, are inspirational breakfast talks that feature mostly local speakers who share their accomplishments in creative and/or entrepreneurial fields.

This month’s speaker is a well-known figure in Cleveland’s creative, civic and nonprofit communities. In 2023, Lillian Kuri became the first woman president/CEO of the Cleveland Foundation, a powerful shaper of the civic and creative landscape of northeast Ohio. She’d served as vice president and COO of the Foundation, where she’s been since 2005, and before that, she built an impressive resume with organizations such as Cleveland Public Art (now Land Studios) and Evergreen Cooperatives (which she co-founded). She was also appointed chair of the Cleveland Planning Commission by Mayor Justin Bibb in 2022.

In addition to an inspirational talk, the events include an artisan breakfast and coffee, live music performance, art by local designers, and “elevator” pitches from community members about projects they’re working on.

The events take place in different local venues each month. This month’s is at Lake View Cemetery’s historic Wade Chapel.
