The Cleveland Animal Protective League not only offers people the chance to adopt homeless cat, dogs and other small animals, it also provides a variety of services to improve and support the lives of those animals including medical care, spay/neuter, investigating reports of animal neglect and cruelty, and a trap/neuter/return program for feral cats. And it’s entirely privately funded.
That’s why it has events such as its annual Fur Ball Gala, taking place at the InterContinental Hotel Cleveland on Saturday November 1, which supporters can attend in person or virtually. This year’s theme is “Shake, Rattle & Roll Over.”
Those who attend in person get to enjoy gourmet food stations, signature drinks, raffles, live and silent auctions, and an appearance by the VIP: Very Important Pooch. Virtual guests can bid on both live and silence auctions and watch the program online.
The Fur Ball raises money for the APL’s Second Chance Program, which cares for sick, injured, and special needs animals who arrive at the shelter. Get your tickets here.
