Guitar Riot Brings Their Axes to Punk Rock Photo Show

Guitar Riot Brings Their Axes to Punk Rock Photo Show

Sat 4/26 @ 1-5PM

If you haven’t seen it already, you’ll want to catch Cleveland photographer Jim Lanza’s show Fans and Cameras, currently on view at Sixty Bowls Gallery in Ohio City’s Hingetown neighborhood. It’s crammed with hundreds of photos of Lanza’s years shooting underground punk, new wave and hardcore shows at Cleveland venues such as the Pop Shop and the Lakefront, as well as examples of his more peaceful work of graveyards and Cleveland landmarks.

The gallery is open every Saturday through the show’s closing on May 10. This coming week he’ll have some special guests in the gallery — staff members from the locally owned music store Guitar Riot, who will bring guitars to set up in the gallery and be on hand to share information about the guitars and the merchandise and services they offer.

Admission is free! Event info here.
