David Lusenhop has been an art dealer for more than three decades, specializing on connecting African-American art with museums and collector. In the fall of 2023, he opened a brick-and mortar gallery in a small Cleveland Heights storefront called Lusenhop Fine Art, launching it with a show of work by Chicago-based photographer Dawoud Bey. In addition to presenting work by some of the country’s most distinguished Black artists, the gallery has a collection of books visitors are welcome to peruse alongside the art on the walls.
