New York-based singer/actor Capathia Jenkins, who has appeared on Broadway, TV and in films, is no stranger to Blossom Music Center or the Cleveland Orchestra. She’s appeared there with it numerous times singing tunes from the Great American Songbook, movie themes, and songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald.
Now she’ll be fronting a program called “She’s Got Soul,” which is indisputable. Lucas Waldin conducts the program which will feature hits by a wide range of soul and R&B artists including Gladys Knight, the Jackson 5, Toni Braxton, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire and … Adele.
