23 Akron-Area Artists Perform at Summit FM’s 330 Day Concert

Thu 3/30 @ 7PM

For the past five years, Akron’s local independent radio station Summit FM has been presenting its annual 330 Day concert at the Goodyear Theater.

Each year, a plethora of Akron music talent gathers to perform stripped-down acoustic versions of their tunes. For its sixth year, 23 acts will be performing a song apiece on a split stage so there are no gaps between acts. They include Ben Gage, Benny Lava & The Guavas, Bethany Joy, Big Pop, Blue Hour, Buffalo Ryders, Jeff Klemm, Jen Maurer, JT’s Electrik Blackout, Katy Robinson, Madison Cummins, Marc Lee Shannon, Michael Weber, Ohio Weather Band, Rami Feinstein, Shelby Olive, The Kidney Brothers, the Shootouts, Theron Brown, Tracey Thomas, Yankee Bravo, and a special performance from Akron Public Schools Miller South students. Yes, we know that’s 22, but that’s what they sent us. Maybe there’s a surprise guest.

We’re also told The Summit will be making a big announcement during the show. Be the first to know whatever it is. The event is produced by Shootouts leader and Summit 330 concert coordinator Ryan Humbert, who somehow found time to do this while his band the Shootouts is out promoting their brand-new album.) It’s free, with a suggested $10 donation. Go here for more information.
