Trumpet player Larry Herman has performed with orchestras and ensembles around the country including in Kentucky, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Indiana. He’s also played with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, the Akron Symphony, the Blossom Festival Band and the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, and he’s been in the pit orchestra for productions at Playhouse Square and touring artists such as the Hollies, Badfinger and the Buckinghams. He’s even been principal trumpet for the Hollywood Festival Orchestra’s Taiwan tour and the Sigmund Romberg Orchestra’s U.S. holiday tour.
Needless to say, he’s accumulated a lot of musical friends along the way, some of whom will join him at Cain Park’s Alma Theatre for Larry Herman & Friends, part of Cain Park’s Tuesday night free concert series.
