Convergence-Continuum Theater Building Livens Up with Two New Murals

The mission of the Cleveland-based nonprofit Graffiti HeArt is literally to paint the town — not just red but every color in the rainbow (Visit their building at East 49th and Superior and you’ll see.) They provide scholarships for young, street-style artists, match artists up with paying mural commissions and bring in artists from out of town to liven up the city’s outdoor environment.

They’ve just finished painting a pair of murals on the exterior walls of convergence-continuum’s home, the Liminis, on Scranton Road in Tremont. While the theater is adventurous and groundbreaking, with a mission to present works that are off the beaten track, its executive & artistic director Cory Molnar says, “It’s a very nondescript building. Most people don’t even know it’s a live performance theatre. We wanted to bring the arts from the inside to the outside, to let people know that we’re offering live theater all year.”

Take a drive by and check out their new look!
