Geneva-on-the-Lake Kicks Off Summer With Its Annual Parade

Sat 5/7 @ 1PM

Are you just chomping at the bit to get started on summer fun? After the last two years, aren’t we all?

You may have no big travel plans, but there’s no place summer-ier right in our own backyard than Geneva-on-the-Lake, only 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland.  The strip comes alive in the summer, with outside food stands serving the kind of stuff you eat only on vacation (hopefully), bars, putt putt, ziplining, arcades, shops, a park overlooking the lake and a beach just a short distance away at Geneva State Park. Ignore the biker shops still selling confederate flag patches — the town’s not unfriendly (you will see lots of motorcycles though!)

Geneva-on-the-Lake kicks off its summer season this weekend with its annual summer parade on the strip, when many of the businesses open their doors for the season. It’s happening rain or shine (hopefully not snow!)
