Middle Bass Island Music Festival Is a Day of All-Ages Fun

Sat 7/17 @ noon-7PM

Summer is speeding by rapidly. Don’t waste another week to get out to the Erie Islands to enjoy some sun, nature and maybe the Middle Bass Music Festival at Lonz Patio and Pavilion on Middle Bass Island.

The daylong free event will feature a diverse lineup of live bands, food trucks, beer & wine, art demonstrations and the chance to just hang out in the fresh air. The entertainers include the lively Chardon Polka Band, which adds a polka twist to familiar pop and rock songs, swamp rock party band Cats on Holiday, Sam Hooper and his blues band and Middle Bass Island’s own Sonic Boom fusion jazz ensemble. And at the artist tent you’ll be able to try different mediums for yourself, inspired by the artists onsite. You can also check out the Lonz Winery Museum featuring five Civil War-era wine cellars and 100-year-old winemaking equipment.

If you want to get away from the crowd, you can take a walk along one of the many state park trails. Festivcal proceeds will go to the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy to conserve and protect the islands’ nature areas.
