Standing Rock Cultural Arts in Kent is forging ahead with its 15th annual “Who’s Your Mama?” Earth Day celebration and environmental film festival.
Start the celebration by creating a costume as an animal or eco-hero and head down to the Main Street Bridge over the Cuyahoga River in Downtown Kent to join a photo shoot from 2-4pm. The photos will be published on SRCA’s social media pages. Masks are required and social distancing will be in effective.
You don’t have to keep your costume on as you settle down on your couch for the 7pm for virtual environmental film screening, with films focusing on alternative energy, sustainable agriculture, conservation and multimedia environmental education. Get information at www.whosyourmama.org.

SO sad to have missed this!! Is there a film list posted anywhere? Hoping for recs. My interest rn is the fishing industry and ocean conservation. Trying to do my part with sustainable seafood consumption (https://lummiislandwild.com/sustainable-seafood/) but always ready to learn more.
