Heights Arts’ ARTBar evenings offer the opportunity to hang out in its Lee Road Gallery transformed into a cocktail lounge with art, where patrons take in the art current shows, sip on a cocktail and enjoy a performance.

Currently, the shows are Ungallery in the main gallery, featuring work by a half dozen artists that isn’t typical hang-on-the-wall stuff, and Unseen in the Spotlight Gallery, showing Jeneen Hobby’s photos of her trips to arctic regions. The performance will be provided by someone well known to Heights Arts patrons: poet/spoken word artist Ray McNiece, a former heights poet laureate, and his band Tongue in Groove band which backs up spoken word and poetry with a hit of sultry, supple jazz.
