MANSFIELD: Georgia on my Mind

Democrats Raphael Warnock & Jon Ossoff are in the Jan. 5 Georgia Senate run-offs.

Boy, the MAGA hat folks must think progressives are as dumb as a box of rocks. According to their version of the presidential election outcome, the left is clever enough to figure out how to conspire with election officials in virtually every state of the union (many of whom are Republicans, no less) to rig the outcome of the presidential race in the favor of Joe Biden. But obviously the left is stupid since it failed to think about rigging the outcome of the critically important senate races in Georgia while they were running around the country fixing things.

C’mon man, if the left had possessed the power to “fix” the presidential race, they damn sure would have fixed the Georgia contests while they were at it, considering how important those races are to the rebuilding the country, and booted Mitch McConnell out at the same time. And speaking of Georgia, from now until December 7th, the last day citizens in Georgia can register for the upcoming January senate runoffs, the center of the political organizing universe is going to be in this state that turned blue for Biden.

And on January 5, the day of the runoff election, anyone who wants to get an instant lesson on high-level political action should travel to Georgia (actually, if they can, they should depart for the Peach State immediately) where the most sophisticated state-sized political GOTV operation in history will take place.

Seriously, while I’m conscious that I’m suggesting a task for others to do I myself am unable to do at present, I nonetheless strongly suggest that any young person with the wherewithal should go to Georgia and lend a hand in this most important election. Believe me, the folks down there will find something for you to do while treating you just like family.

Just show up at the door of the Fulton County Democratic Party, 501 Pullum St. S.W. in Atlanta, tell them you’re there to help, and then take advantage of the rare opportunity to become a part of living history.

It is hilarious to me that Republicans think the “radical left” rigged the election but then we left the Pale Man in office. Great content as always.
