Celebrate the history behind the 4th of July beyond the fireworks and parades. The Lantern Theater is presenting, for the fifth year, A Reading of the Declaration of Independence, Poor Richard’s Almanac and More. More than a recital of historic documents, this performance also includes music, comedy, and original scenes from local writers.
Taking place in the theater’s Big, Red Barn, this educational, entertaining, and immersive event is a creative way to celebrate the holiday. Join fellow history nerds and theater appreciators alike on July 6th and 7th at 2pm. General admission is $12, and children 12 and under are $8. Purchase tickets here.
