Would you believe CoolCleveland receives 800 emails a day telling us of cool events happening in our region, and that we manually sort through them, curating which ones to include in this weekly newsletter? Some might seem obvious, like the not-K-Pop Korean ensemble Insane Park & The Generals, appearing at City Stages on W. 29th this Wednesday for free. Or the new outdoor adult party that the Maltz Museum is throwing called Kaleidoscope! Or the 49th edition of one of the coolest street fests ever, the Lakewood Arts Festival.
Then there’s the really interesting stuff that we just can’t dismiss, like the Cleveland Mural Rally, a fundraiser for Slow Roll Cleveland to see who can drive by as many murals as possible. Or the workshop for musicians who are looking to dial in their vocal harmonies, held at Visible Voice by vocalists Meg & Kate from Moon Echo Garden. Or the Great Grog Bakeoff, or Blue Lunch at the Bainbridge Swing Dance, or Loganberry’s Author Alley. There’s just so much happening this week.-Thomas Mulready
