“Moxology” Brings Together Artists, Designers & Art Lovers in Collinwood

Fri 5/10 @ 6-10PM

“Moxology: An Art and Design Mixer” is an evening of fun and mingling for artists, designers, art lovers and others in or around the creative community, presented by Moxie Studios and the Maria Neil Art Project. It takes place at Moxie Studios (763 E. 185th Street) in North Collinwood neighborhood.

Moxie Studios’ president & creative director Natalia Jelovic says, “Design and art are both powerful visual mediums that evoke feeling and emotion and cross cultures and barriers around the world. It was a natural fit for Moxie Studios to partner with the Maria Neil Art Project to show how design and art complement one another, and a great opportunity to feature some incredible local artists in our own community, as well as international ones, while using our own design space for what we expect to be a memorable evening of art and culture, business, and design coming together in Moxology.”

The Maria Neil Art Project has put together a pop-up art gallery comprising work by Cleveland artists Tim Callaghan, Dawn Tekler, Justin Michael Will, Steven Bivens and Jennifer Collier; there will also by pieces by Cuban artists from the 2019 Havana Biennial Art Festival, which will be auctioned off. The evening includes refreshments, a raffle and soul music spun by Jason Tarulli aka DJ Sir Quite Nicely. The event is free; drink & raffle tickets will be available at the door.
