Lit Summer Night Benefit for Literary Cleveland Hosted at Cleve Hts Mansion

Sat 6/1 @ 6-10PM

Literary Cleveland was founded four years ago, and in that time, it has hosted countless workshops, lectures, author events, mixers, parties and more to help writers improve their craft and to bring writers and readers together.

To further its work, the nonprofit is hosting its Lit Summer Night benefit taking place at Harcourt Manor, a mansion in Cleveland Heights, where there’ll be appetizers, desserts and a cash bar in a lovely setting, which features terraces, pergola seating a waterfall and even a speakeasy-style bar. There’ll be entertainment, of course, musical (Eli Hanley’s Jazz Trio from Oberlin), literary (Cleveland Heights poet laureate Damien McClendon and poet Melissa Warren) and comedic (comedian Molly Brenner). A silent auction and raffle baskets will raise still more money for the organization, and they are promising “an exciting announcement” about their future.

Tickets are $60 which includes valet parking; $100 VIP tickets also include a special guided tour of the mansion.
