Lake Erie Ink Hosts Teen Writers Symposium At Loganberry Books

Sat 5/11 @ 12:30-3:30PM

Local talent teaching local you the tricks of the trade in developing one’s artistic voice and crafting their story — that’s what Lake Erie Ink’s teen writers workshop is all about. Local authors will share their expertise with young attendees, grades six through 12, first as a large group on a panel and later in breakout sessions that deal specifically with the authors’ various topics. On Sat 5/11 @ 12:30-3:30pm, join fellow aspiring young writers at Loganberry Books on Larchmere Blvd.

Learn from journalist and nonfiction writer Charlotte Mogar, who has been published locally regionally and nationally, and currently teaches composition and rhetoric at Cleveland State University. Joining her is writer, editor and journalist Annie Zaleski, who is excited to share her ideas on storytelling. D. M. Pulley will offer her perspective on historical fiction and horror.

The symposium is $10 at the door online, with scholarships and sibling discounts available. Pizza and snacks with the students. Register here or by calling 216–320–4757.
