Final Week to Catch the Maltz Museum Exhibit “Israel: Then & Now”

Through Sun 5/12

There’s not much time left to catch the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage’s special exhibit Israel: Then & Now, which opened last September and closes Sun 5/12.

It tells the story of how the Jewish state was established in the middle east in 1948, and what those Jewish immigrants from around the world brought and built there, with accomplishments in agriculture, technology, medicine, architecture, cuisine and the creative arts. It explores how the people of Israel feel about their country and the political and society challenges it faces.

CoolCleveland interviewed Maltz Museum managing director David Schafer when the exhibi opened. Read more here.

It’s free with regular admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students 12 and up, $5 for kids 5-11.
