Lakewood’s Screw Factory Artists Hold Their Spring Open Studio

Fri 5/3 @ 6-10PM

Sat 5/4 @ 10AM-3PM

The bottom floor of the Lake Erie Building aka Screw Factory in Lakewood is still home to manufacturing businesses. But the second and third floors are home to the studios and work spaces of dozens of artists and craftspeople as well as businesses including yoga studios and vintage shops. It’s also got a couple of large events spaces.

During its annual spring open house, visitors can wander in and out of artist studios to see their work process and to purchase handmade items directly from their makers. The event spaces will be filled with guest artists and crafts people offering a wide variety of items, including body products, jewelry, teas, paper goods, lighting made from recycled items and even Ukrainian pysanky eggs. In addition, visitors can stop by the Templar Motor Company, where Templar automobiles were made from 1917-1924.

It’s free.
