The annual two-day Pookafest in downtown Bedford features a whole heap of things to do. There’s an art show and artisan village with creators selling their wares. There’s entertainment in the gazebo, international dancers and live music, gourmet food vendors and an “Imagination Village” with hands-on art activities.
On Saturday evening from 6-9pm, come down for Sugar Pie’s Swing Dance Party. There’ll be a dance lesson from Get Hep Swing from 6-6:45; that’ll be followed by music by George Foley, Sheela Das and other top Cleveland musicians who will perform tunes from the Great American Songbook and other swingy, danceable numbers. It’s all free.
