Ohio Light Opera, based at the College of Wooster, not only presents seven musicals and operettas in repertory from June through mid-August. It also hosts a symposium for those who want to know more about the material they perform.
The theme of this year’s event is “Taking Light Opera Seriously.” The four days will feature roundtable discussions, musical presentations, lectures, and a sneak peek at the 40-year-old company’s plans for the next 40 years, with morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Box lunches are available.
