Akron Recording Company Hosts Open House to Show Off Its New Northside Location

Fri 6/20 @ 6-midnight

Akron Recording Company (ARC) has just moved into a new home in the Whitespace Creative Building in the city’s Northside Arts District (243 Furnace St Akron OH 44304).

As with so many recording studios these days, it’s more than just a recording studio, offering a live performance space (which allows video filming) as well. To show it off, founders Ben Patrick and Nate Bucher are hosting an open house. They’ll be doing studio tours from 6-7pm, followed by performances from some of the local bands who appeared on ARC’s new compilation album Where the Hell is Akron, OH?

They include White Buffalo Woman at 8pm, Floco Torres at 9pm, the Beyonderers at 10pm and Time Cat at 11pm. DJ Andrew Novak will spin between bands. And there will be a drawing for free studio time.

The open house is free (although you are welcome to donate for the bands). You are also free to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
