Syndicate for the New Arts Presents Another Cutting-Edge Performance at St John’s Ohio City

Fri 5/25 @ 9:30-10:30PM

Cleveland’s Syndicate for the New Arts, devoted to presenting avant-garde contemporary music, presents its second multi-media Transmitter event, taking place at the Historic St. John’s Church in Ohio City’s Hingetown neighborhood.

Experimental sounds will be provided by Pittsburgh’s Diaphony, the duo of pianist Susan Kao and violinist Danielle Rager, who blend electronics, neoclassical harmonization and medieval chants. Cleveland quartet Dead Peasant insurance will add an element of assaultive noise, while Cleveland harpist Stephan Haluska will balance that with his improvisations. DJ Schiller will spin music and Evening Son will contribute projected visuals to add another dimension to the music. Admission is $10.
