As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, it’s time to look for that first sign of the season — appearances by Cleveland’s The Boys from the County Hell. An occasional band comprising some of the area’s top musicians, it pays tribute to the Pogues, the famously drunken Irish punk-influenced rock band — and has bee doing so for almost 20 years.
They kick off their busy season with their annual early St. Patrick’s Day bash at the Music Box Supper Club. Cleveland guitarist/songwriter/vocalist Ray Flanagan opens, either because he has an Irish name or because he, like many of the members of TBFTCH, is everywhere.
Admission is $15. Doors open at 6pm if you want to come down for dinner.
