On a sunny Saturday afternoon, a group of people from local government agencies, nonprofit groups, churches and others gathered at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in East Cleveland to fan out and walk the city’s streets, providing residents with information about services, activities and events available to them. Streets and porches were filled with local citizens enjoying the weather, porch sitting with neighbors and doing home repairs and gardening who paused to talk to the walkers and accept the bags full of information they offering.
