Wed 10/28 @ 5-7PM
With Halloween on Saturday this year, the entire previous week (month?) is a long build-up of anticipation. Your costume can really get a workout with all the things there are to go to.
If the kids are antsy and just can’t wait until Saturday to don that outfit and mask and work on raising their sugar level into the stratosphere, bring them down to the Cedar-Fairmount business district to take part in its Halloween Fall Festival. There’s trick-or-treating at the local merchants, of course, from 5-7pm, along with the de rigeur costume contest at 6pm with prizes for more original, scariest and funniest. But there’ll also be entertainment from Musical Mark and Whipple the Balloon Clown, cupcake and cookie decorating and specials in the district’s shops and restaurants.
It’s free and open to all.
