EDM-Influenced Rockers @DayMethod Play One Last Gig Before Moving to L.A.

DayMethod

Sun 7/5 @ 7PM

It’s a good thing their show at Aces Grille in Middleburg Heights is all ages, because it’s clear that Day Method’s music is aimed at teens and pre-teens. The three fresh-faced, blond young men play cheerful, toe-tapping music that pulls together rock and electronic dance music, a popular and crowd-pleasing blend these days.

Their looks, their choreographed moves and their light, boyish vocals put them firmly in the “boy group” category — a designation set in stone by the fact that they are a self-described Christian band which plays a lot of churches. And for that young crowd, the trio really delivers, with loads of energy, a laser light show and a splashy space-age image.

The group is about to move to Los Angeles, and the show at Aces Grille will be their last before they quit this area. It’s also a celebration of the release of their new album Beautiful, an extended version of their 2013 sophomore release On My Mind with five new tunes and new versions of two others. The first 50 people at the merch table will get a copy of either one of their choice.

The show is free, so bring the whole family. Aces has a full menu so you can have dinner before the 7pm show.
