All good things must come to an end. And while hosting singer-songwriter nights and open mics can be a lot of fun, it’s also a lot of work.
Local alt country artist G.S. Harper has been presenting monthly Songwriters in the Round events at Prosperity Social Club in Tremont for two years. He was planning to break for the summer and resume in the fall. But now he’s got a new record out called Sixteen Winters. And he’s decided to spend more time on the road really working it come September.
So he’s bringing down the curtain on his nights at Prosperity. He’s invited every songwriter who has played one of his events which is a pretty good guarantee that some talented people will show up.
As always, it’s free.
