There’s no suspense about what songs will be included in the North Coast Men’s Chorus’ latest concert, Von Trapped.
The suspense is exactly how far over the top these zany guys will go in performing The Sound of Music, which has become a big favorite for dress-up sing-along/act-along movie screenings. And gay men are some of the most enthusiastic and creative participants.
Appropriately, the concert (and you can bet “concert” barely begins to describe what will happen when the guys are onstage) takes place at Regina Auditorium at Notre Dame College for two performances. It’s a good thing the real nuns don’t wear habits anymore so you don’t confuse them with the pretend ones. Of course, you can always spot the moustaches!
