Cleveland funk rock quartet We the People is one of the more under-the-radar party bands in Cleveland. They’ve been kicking around for several years now, playing their keyboard- and percussion-heavy soulful dance music.
Muamin Collective has a slightly longer pedigree, having been active in the mid ’00s, dropping out of sight for a while, and now roaring back with a new album So Blue It’s Black. The duo of producer aLIVE and lyricist Zion make smart, thoughtful hop hop, and they’ve been getting it into in front of different types audience, thanks in part of their full-band performances.
The two groups will share a show at the Grog Shop. DJ Lawrence Daniel Caswell will sew things together.
Admission is $6.
