All of the shows put on by Cleveland’s North Coast Men’s Chorus are outrageously entertaining. In addition to anywhere from 50-70 singers (it varies from show to show) hitting you with their powerful massed vocals, you have dancing, comedy, sentimental moments, costumes, and unexpected surprises.
While all of their shows — each of which has a theme — are fun, their annual Christmas show is even more so. This year’s is titled “Keeping The Yuletide Gay,” and they will do so in both senses of the word.
Expect humorous songs, nostalgic songs, traditional songs, bawdy songs, religious songs, inspirational songs — these guys know how to mix it up.
Sunday’s matinee at PlayhouseSquare’s Hanna Theatre is sold out but there are still tickets for the two Saturday shows at 3 and 8 pm.
Tickets are $10-$40.
