Brewnuts finally opened its long-awaited permanent brick-and-mortar location on a prime corner in Gordon Square in September 2017. This followed four years of pop-up shops, and selling its distinctive donuts at markets and other locations, building a clientele.
What’s different about Brewnuts is that it’s now both a donut shop AND a bar. The large space houses a spacious bar and funky pop culture memorabilia and serves bottled beers and beers on tap as well as cocktails, to go with its beer-based donuts. If beer and donuts don’t sound like a good mix to you, don’t worry — they have coffee as well. Couches and other seating make this another place to hang out and meet your friends.
