Tue 1/25 @ 5:30PM
You’ll want to be there for the next Cleveland EcoTueday meet-up. This will be a special launch event featuring some of the most exciting green projects overtaking the city. Join the forum on Tue 1/25 at 5:30PM.
Info:
This event will feature a panel of some of the most exciting projects to innovatively extend the growing season to support year-round urban agriculture and incorporate smart and clean energy solutions as well. The work of these great Cleveland entrepreneurs – social entrepreneurs – is among the most energizing city-wide. It represents the great nexus of opportunity at the intersection of the two highest priority themes as determined by Sustainable Cleveland 2019 – Local Food and Energy Efficiency. The celebration years designated for these topics are 2011 (Energy Efficiency) and 2012 (Local Food).
On January 25th we feature Grassroots Greenhouse Greats – each project, whether in planning or implementation stage – involves extremely unique and innovative materials, strategies, and designs. We are happy to have supported and served all of these projects – and continue to strive to do so in meaningful ways. Each project is manifesting in a grassroots fashion that will develop community with great economic and environmental impact in mind. Don’t miss this one!
The panel will feature:
Community Greenhouse Partners: Tim Smith
Gardens Under Glass at the Galleria: Vicki Poole [pictured]
Green Acres Market Plaza: Arthur Fayne
Tunnel Vision Hoops: Carlton Jackson and/or Mike Walton
