Cleveland Burlesque’s “Fright Night Burlesque Revue: Masters of Horror Mystical Mysterious Fantastical” (have a few superlatives there!) is described as “a spine-tingling evening of seductive enchantment.”
We’re sure it will be both spine-tingling and seductive, perhaps both at the same time. The performers lined up for the show at the Beachland Ballroom include some of the most creative ones we’ve seen — and the ones we haven’t seen will have to live up to those standards!
It’s also sure to be diverse, with acts that are lavish and gorgeous, acts that are tongue-in-cheek and maybe even buffoonish, acts that are eerie and supernatural. Among the cast are Bella Sin, Lola Loveletter, Heather & Lace, PoundCake, Rose Faluda, Jessica Lewis, Onya Nurve, Ruby Rabbit, Miss Holly Grail (pictured, a prformer who is always at least a little scary), Robyn Da Culture, Lakota Shekhar, Cherry Amarone, Jordy Vargas and others to be named later.
There’ll also be a costume contest but you’ll have to work hard and really use your imagination to outdo the artists on stage. Get your tickets here and start planning that get-up now.
