Cleveland songwriter/vocalist/guitarist Ray Flanagan is a busy chameleon, who has appeared on stages in various area venues in a wide range of formats. You might find him playing in a band with his peers, or onstage with musicians a generation or two older. He might be backing up someone on guitar or performing his own songs solo — and he’s a prolific songwriter. He’s been part of the area music scene for almost a decade, and if you’ve gone out to hear local music, chances are you’ve heard him play.
If you need a breather, head over to the Treelawn Social Club in the Waterloo Arts District on Christmas Eve, where he’ll be onstage performing some songs from his copious repertoire as part of the Musicians Union Local 4’s Solidarity Series, Volume 11. Their sponsorship means you can hear this talented musician/songwriter perform for free.
