Akron Pride doesn’t happen until August 24, one of the latest Pride celebrations around (giving you something to look forward as summer winds down!) Meanwhile, Akron Pride is presenting its Drag Battle at the Akron Civic Theatre, hosted by Akron drag performers Brionna Brooks and Monica Masters.
Akron Pride’s Drag Entertainer of 2023 Pineapple Peruu will perform, and AJ Quin West, Alejandra J-Love, Cherry Veneer, Jeremiah, Natasshja Norielle and Poppy Logo will be competing for the title of Akron Pride Drag Entertainer of 2024, plus $500 cash.
