The Reentry Reconnection Coalition provides men with felony histories of Cuyahoga County a chance to rebuild their lives and enter the world of entrepreneurship by giving them basic elements needed to develop a start-up business plan.
Standard job readiness programs provide adequate training for these would-be employees, but they quickly discover the bias against hiring men with felony histories. The Reentry Reconnection can mitigate the problem, helping these men who are having difficulty finding employment by instilling in them basic entrepreneurial skills… Watch the video and read more from Carol Drummond here.

Beck Center Under Attack Again
Lakewood’s Beck Center is under attack once more from religious fundamentalists organized by the group America Needs Fatima, a family-run operation based in Kansas and Pennsylvania. Protests during the opening weekend of the production of the award-winning farce Jerry Springer: The Opera, resulted in sold-out performances, and The Beck Center deciding to extend the run of the show through Sun 4/17, much to the delight of area fans and supporters, like the lucky couple pictured here.
