Rock Music Biographer Talks at County Library Branch About His New Rolling Stones Book

Mon 5/4 @ 7PM

Author Bob Spitz is especially known for his celebrity profiles and his biographies. He’s written books about a disparate array of personalities, including Julia Child, Ronald Reagan, and many often-covered rock musicians including the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan, as well as a comprehensive book about the original 1969 Woodstock festival called Barefoot in Babylon. He’s still mining rock & roll territory with his just-published The Rolling Stones: A Biography.

Spitz will be at the Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Brooklyn branch to talk about his work as a biographer, and how to find a new angle on a topic as thoroughly covered as the Rolling Stones. Go here for more information and to register for the free event.
