Rhythm on the River Is a Family-Friendly Afternoon of Music at CVNP

Sun 7/13 @ 3:30-6PM

The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park has been presenting its concerts in Howe Meadow for quite a few years, most recently under the name Rhythm on the River.

On July 13, you can catch one of the signature bands of a northeast Ohio summer, Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band with their infectious, feel-good rockin’ reggae. Kicking things off will be one of the most vibrant music ensembles in the area — no, not a rock band — the legendary Shaw High School Marching Band from East Cleveland.  They’ll have everyone up and clapping along and the kids at this family-friendly concert will already be vowing to take up tuba or bass drum so they can join their high school band and get a spiffy uniform too.

There’ll also be food trucks there, field games for kids and a free 360 photo booth. Admission and parking are free. Gates open at 2; music starts at 3:30pm. You can bring a picnic, but please, no alcohol.
